Dom is a consultant, analyst, facilitator and ‘corporate diplomat’ who sees his role as getting the best information to people, at the right time, so they can make good decisions. This philosophy has seen him have successes in the community and private sectors, across diverse organisations and issues.

Using human-centred design approaches, an array of research techniques, stakeholder engagement and facilitated sessions, Dom focusses on understanding problems, and identifying insights, pain points and opportunities before developing concepts or prototypes, and engaging in customer testing.

From an innovation perspective, Dom’s main interests are finding ways to leverage existing capabilities and the early stages of innovation journeys; this includes understanding problems worth solving and the development of concepts that may yield solutions worth doing.

As a theoretician and generous sharer of knowledge, Dom makes substantial use of models to aid understanding for those not familiar with innovation techniques and practices.

Using qualitative and quantitative approaches, Dom can work with clients to conduct Innovation360 assessments from a high-level diagnostic ‘dip test’, to delivering a detailed statistical and objective analysis covering an organisation more broadly.
